A temporary partial vacate order is in effect for 333 East 181st Street in the Bronx. The third floor remains vacated. This is due to the fire that occurred on January 9, 2022. Building management will contact residents to notify them if they can reoccupy their homes.

The City’s service center closed on Friday, January 28.

As residents are able to return home, those who wish to reside in emergency hotels can stay until Monday, March 7.

BronxWorks is providing long-term case management to affected residents. BronxWorks is a locally based nonprofit that has been tasked with case management for people impacted by the North West Fire. Assistance is available regardless of immigration status or official residency.

BronxWorks is working with local and state agencies to coordinate services, as well with local nonprofits to provide aid and services to those impacted.
