Noise from Vehicle to report a vehicle making noise that is not a part of the Off-Hour Delivery program.

The Department of Transportation (DOT) expanded the Off-Hour Deliveries program, which encourages businesses in congested areas of the city to accept deliveries between 7 PM and 6 AM.

The areas currently participating in the program are:

Downtown Brooklyn
Lower Manhattan
Midtown Manhattan
Jamaica, Queens

The program aims to reduce traffic congestion in areas with high pedestrian volumes and limited curb space.

You can report delivery trucks and vans in the Off-Hour Deliveries (OHD) program that are making noise between 7 PM and 6 AM.

What You Can Report

You can report noise from:

Trucks idling
Refrigeration truck units
Loud back up alarms
Truck gates slamming
Forklifts
Drivers talking or playing loud music

The trucks or vans must participate in Off-Hour Deliveries and be making noise in an OHD program area.

What You Need

You must provide:

The delivery company's name or a description of a logo or other identifying marks on the truck
A description of the truck's location (for example, in a loading dock or double parked on street)
Name or address of the business receiving the delivery
