You can get prenatal care to keep you and your baby healthy. If you know you're pregnant or think you might be, you can schedule an appointment for prenatal care from the City's hospitals and clinics.
If you are a teenager, you can get sexual health services at a clinic without your parents’ permission or knowledge.
Services are confidential, free or low cost, and open to all. You will be helped regardless of your immigration status.

NYC Health + Hospitals' 11 public hospitals and their clinics offer health screenings at little or no cost.
You can make an appointment to get screened for a range of chronic diseases such as the following:
NYC Health + Hospitals facilities and neighborhood health centers offer mammograms for eligible, uninsured women at little or no cost.
It is recommended that women aged 50 to 74 years old should have a mammogram every two years.
Women 40 to 49 and over 74 should talk to their doctor and decide whether to have screening.
You can request an appointment to receive a clinical breast examination and consult with a provider. Mammograms are provided based on the clinical assessment of the patient.
