The Queens Public Library lends free mobile hotspots to library card holders.
Mobile hotspots are smaller than most cell phones and provide Internet access for any Wi-Fi enabled device, such as a computer, tablet, or smartphone, almost anywhere.
First time borrowers will be asked to show photo ID and fill out a borrower's agreement. You can borrow a hotspot for one month and renew it up to three times at some Queens libraries.

The New York City Public Library system across all 5 boroughs are lending 5,000 mobile Wi-Fi hotspots to eligible parents this fall.
