NYC Health + Hospitals facilities and neighborhood health centers offer mammograms for eligible, uninsured women at little or no cost.
It is recommended that women aged 50 to 74 years old should have a mammogram every two years.
Women 40 to 49 and over 74 should talk to their doctor and decide whether to have screening.
You can request an appointment to receive a clinical breast examination and consult with a provider. Mammograms are provided based on the clinical assessment of the patient.
