The City provides information about programs for children and young adults run by the New York Police Department (NYPD). To get information about programs in the neighborhood, contact a Youth Officer at your local police precinct.
You can also get information about The Police Athletic League (PAL) programs offered in the City. The City's Police Department and PAL work in partnership to provide communities with needed summer and after school recreational and educational activities throughout all 5 boroughs.
Through New York City’s Ranger Conservation Corps program high school students can work on environmental conservation and restoration projects. The Ranger Conservation Corp program environmental internship, is run by the Urban Park Rangers.
