The NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) settled the lawsuit against T-Mobile, MetroPCS, and several Metro by T-Mobile dealers.
As part of the settlement, T-Mobile agreed to pay $100,000 to a claims fund for eligible consumers. DCWP will administer the fund.
You can file a claim if, on or after September 5, 2016, a MetroPCS or Metro by T-Mobile store in New York City:

The deadline to file a claim is June 23, 2022.
The Department of Consumer and Worker Protection does not accept reports of rude employee behavior. You should report this type of complaint to the business.
