The Driver Resource Center offers taxi drivers free legal services, financial counseling, health and mental health resources, and public benefit application support.
All appointments are currently by phone. ASL and other language interpretation services are available.

The Taxi Medallion Owner Relief Fund is providing direct relief to financially distressed owner-drivers.

You can get help accessing these services and other resources by scheduling an appointment with the Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC) Driver Resource Center. The center can help you apply for federal, state, and local financial programs, including the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).

The TLC created the Taxi Improvement Fund (TIF) to support medallion owners and drivers who place wheelchair accessible taxis into service. TIF ensures that all customers have equitable access to taxi transportation services.
To be eligible for TIF payments, medallion owners and agents must have their vehicles converted (hacked-up) to Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs).
