The Department for the Aging’s Geriatric Mental Health program is providing adults 60 and older and their families with:
- Mental health assessments and support
- Individual, group, family, and couple’s psychotherapy
Services are available on-site in Older Adult Centers (also known as Senior Centers) throughout the City’s 5 boroughs and are often provided by bilingual social workers.

Individuals do not need to be a member of an Older Adult Center, but the senior must be age 60 or older to receive mental health services in any of the participating Centers.
